About NVIDIA Inception
NVIDIA Inception is a free membership program for AI startups run by NVIDIA. It is not an accelerator in the classic sense. There are no cohorts, no demo day, no cash investment, and no deadlines. Startups apply at any time and at any funding stage, and accepted companies stay members as long as they keep meeting the criteria.
NVIDIA describes the program as guiding AI startups through the NVIDIA platform and ecosystem, from prototype to production. Membership has four parts. Training covers free self-paced technical courses and discounted expert-led workshops. Tools and offers cover preferred pricing on select NVIDIA hardware and software, partner offers, and cloud credits from NVIDIA and partners. Investor access comes through Inception Capital Connect, which introduces eligible members to NVIDIA's venture capital network. Brand support includes official badges, co-branded content, and introductions at events.
NVIDIA charges no application fee and no membership fee, and takes no equity. To qualify, a company must be officially incorporated, under 10 years old, have a working website, a clear use case for NVIDIA technology, and at least one actively operating founder. Consulting and outsourced development firms, crypto companies, cloud service providers, resellers, and public companies are excluded. Discounts on hardware still require paying for the hardware, and benefits are requested one by one, not handed out as a fixed package.
What NVIDIA Inception looks for
NVIDIA looks for incorporated AI startups with a clear use case for NVIDIA technology. The company must be under 10 years old, have a working website, and have at least one actively operating founder. Revenue is not required, and any funding stage can apply. NVIDIA excludes consulting and outsourced development firms, cryptocurrency companies, cloud service providers, resellers and distributors, and public companies. The application asks for a pitch deck and product details, so a concrete product built on GPUs or NVIDIA software helps.
How the NVIDIA Inception program works
Inception runs as an always-on membership, not a timed program. After acceptance, members use a portal to request benefits and get personalized recommendations, so keeping the company profile current matters. Training comes through free self-paced NVIDIA courses and discounted instructor-led workshops.
Members can request preferred pricing on select NVIDIA hardware and software and claim partner offers, including cloud credits from NVIDIA and partners. Eligible members can be introduced to investors through Inception Capital Connect. NVIDIA also offers marketing support: an Inception badge, co-branded content, and introductions at events such as GTC.
There are no required sessions, no mentorship schedule, and no demo day. Everything is remote and self-directed, and members can stay in the program as long as they meet the eligibility rules.
How to apply to NVIDIA Inception

Startup perks after acceptance

NVIDIA Inception FAQ
When is the NVIDIA Inception application deadline?+
NVIDIA Inception reviews applications on a rolling basis, so you can apply at any time.
Is NVIDIA Inception free?+
Yes. NVIDIA charges no application fee and no membership fee, and takes no equity. Some benefits still cost money. Preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware is a discount, not free hardware. Cloud credits and partner offers vary by eligibility and are requested individually through the member portal.
Does NVIDIA Inception give funding?+
No. Inception does not invest cash. It offers introductions to venture capital firms through Inception Capital Connect for eligible members. Any investment would come from those investors, not from the program itself. This makes Inception a perks and network program rather than a funded accelerator.
Who cannot join NVIDIA Inception?+
NVIDIA excludes consulting and outsourced development firms, cryptocurrency-related companies, cloud service providers, resellers and distributors, and public companies. Companies older than 10 years, unincorporated teams, and startups without a working website or clear use of NVIDIA technology also do not qualify.
