About Startupbootcamp
Startupbootcamp is a network of sector-specific accelerators that has run programs since 2010. It does not run one global cohort. Each track has its own theme, partners, location and terms, and founders apply to the track that matches their industry.
6B. Its mentor pool is listed at 2,500 to 5,000 people depending on the page. The current core is in the Netherlands.
Open tracks on the official site include DeepTech & Robotics III, Energy & Climate III, Food & AgriTech III and Health & LifeScience I, most run in a hybrid format from Amsterdam. Licensed partners also run programs in Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Italy, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil and South Korea. Money and equity differ by track.
A third-party guide that checked the official track pages in August 2026 found €25,000 cash plus a partner perk kit valued above €100,000 on the Health & LifeScience track. A past Inclusive Fintech track offered €15,000 for 8% equity. The Georgia track uses non-dilutive grants of GEL 50,000 to GEL 150,000.
Read the term sheet for your specific track before you apply, because the numbers are not standard across the network.
What Startupbootcamp looks for
Startupbootcamp selects startups whose product fits the theme of a specific track and its corporate partners. Tracks such as DeepTech & Robotics, Energy & Climate and Food & AgriTech look for technical teams that can run pilots with industry partners during three months. A working product or prototype helps, because much of the program is built around partner validation. Teams should be ready to commit to the program schedule, including any on-site weeks in the Netherlands for hybrid tracks.
How the Startupbootcamp program works
Most tracks run for three months. Startupbootcamp describes them as intensive, mentor-driven programs built around a corporate partner group for each sector. The early weeks focus on mentor meetings, where founders meet a large number of mentors and pick a smaller group to work with.
The middle of the program covers customer validation, pilots with the track's corporate partners and fundraising preparation. Each program ends with a Demo Day in front of investors and partners. Current Dutch tracks run in a hybrid format, so part of the work happens online and part on site in Amsterdam or elsewhere in the Netherlands.
Some partner programs are shorter or structured differently, such as a 12-week pre-accelerator in Australia. After the program, alumni keep access to the Startupbootcamp network, and the network says it offers follow-on support to portfolio companies.
