About Schoolab
Schoolab is a Paris innovation studio founded in 2005 by three entrepreneurs inspired by Silicon Valley. Most of its business today is corporate training, intrapreneurship programs, design sprints and learning expeditions for large companies. It reports 500+ client companies and 50,000+ people trained.
Its startup side is a set of incubators it operates for public and corporate partners in the Ile-de-France region. Schoolab is not an investor and takes no equity. Startups pay a monthly fee.
There are three incubators. The Station numixs incubator in Sarcelles is backed by the Roissy Pays de France urban area and supports digital projects in supply chain, infrastructure, eco-friendly solutions and industrial production, at 150 euros per month excluding VAT. Hub Rungis&Co is a food incubator inside the Rungis wholesale market, backed by market operator SEMMARIS.
It runs for one year and costs 350 euros per month excluding VAT. The Future Is NEUTRAL is based at the Renault Group Refactory in Flins and supports mobility and circular economy startups, also at 350 euros per month. Schoolab says it has supported 800+ startups and that they raised 130 million euros in public and private funding.
Another page on its site says 1,000+. Earlier Schoolab programs at Station F, including the PEPITE student incubator and an International Starter program, no longer appear on its startup page.
What Schoolab looks for
Schoolab's incubators are sector-led. Rungis&Co wants food startups that help the environmental and social transition of the food system and can test with Rungis market players. The Future Is NEUTRAL wants mobility and circular economy startups ready to work on industrialization. Station numixs wants innovative digital projects tied to the Roissy Pays de France area, from young projects to more mature ones. Founders should be open to coaching and group work.
How the Schoolab program works
Each incubator follows the same Schoolab method: one-to-one follow-up plus group workshops, mentoring from a network of 300+ coaches and experts, and tools such as design thinking and OKRs. Programs run from a few months to one year depending on the incubator. Hub Rungis&Co lasts one year.
The setting changes by program. At Rungis&Co, startups test products with wholesalers and buyers on the Rungis market and work on sustainable logistics, circular economy and decarbonization of the food chain. At The Future Is NEUTRAL, startups work inside Renault's Refactory site with industrial experts on industrialization and scale.
Station numixs adds help with public and private funding applications. Schoolab is Qualiopi certified, so some program costs can be covered through French training funding schemes.
