What Is Cherry Servers?

Cherry Servers is a European infrastructure provider based in Lithuania. It rents bare metal dedicated servers, cloud VPS and VDS instances, and GPU servers. Its footer dates the company to 2001, and it says it has been in business for 25 years.

The company runs seven locations: Šiauliai in Lithuania, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Chicago, Singapore and Tokyo. Every location lists ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification. The regions are linked by a private backbone of 100 Gbps or more, with Tier 1 transit and direct internet exchange peering.

The pitch is simple. You get single-tenant hardware with cloud-style controls. You can order a server from the Client Portal, the REST API, a CLI, Python and Go SDKs, Terraform or Ansible. You can pay by the hour, commit for a lower rate, or pay in crypto. Cherry Servers says it provisions more than 30,000 new servers every year.

Cherry Servers is popular with Web3 teams running Solana and Ethereum nodes, and a lot of its case studies come from that world. The product itself is general purpose. SaaS backends, databases, CI runners, game servers and AI inference all run on the same machines.

The SaaSOffers Offer: Personalized Onboarding

Founders who come through SaaSOffers get personalized onboarding from the Cherry Servers team, free of charge. There is no discount, credit or promo code attached to this deal. Cherry Servers chose to offer people time instead of a price cut.

Here is what that means in practice. Cherry Servers already assigns every customer a personal account manager at no cost. Its support page says this person will "help you explore our user-friendly platform, introduce you to our diverse range of products, and address any questions." When you arrive from SaaSOffers, you get that same team, briefed that you are an early-stage founder who wants help getting set up properly.

Use the onboarding for the decisions that are expensive to get wrong:

  • Picking hardware. Instant server, custom build, VDS or plain VPS. Which CPU, how much RAM, which disks and RAID level.
  • Picking a region. Which of the seven locations sits closest to your users, and which products are stocked there.
  • Picking a billing model. Hourly, monthly, annual or spot, depending on how stable your workload is.
  • Getting the platform working for you. API keys, projects, private VLANs, floating IPs, backup storage, and the Terraform or Ansible setup if you manage infrastructure as code.

Keep expectations realistic. Cherry Servers' virtual servers are unmanaged, and its own FAQ says support covers basic troubleshooting and hardware queries. Onboarding helps you start on the right footing. It does not mean Cherry Servers will run your stack or act as your DevOps team.

If you are planning a migration or a larger deployment, Cherry Servers also lets you apply for a test server. In its words: "If it's a good fit, we'll match you with a test server and help you get started." Mention SaaSOffers when you apply.

Why This Deal Matters for Startups

Most hosting deals for startups are credits on a hyperscaler. Credits feel generous until they run out and the real invoice shows up. A lot of startups find out at that point that a few always-on servers cost far more in the cloud than on dedicated hardware.

Cherry Servers is built for the moment you notice that gap. A single AMD Ryzen 7700X machine with 8 cores, 16 threads, 64 GB of ECC DDR5 and two 1 TB NVMe drives lists at $186.03 per month on monthly billing. It includes 100 TB of free egress traffic. That is a full physical server with no neighbors and no hypervisor.

The hard part of leaving managed cloud is not the price. It is the setup: picking the right box, wiring up networking, getting backups and automation in place. A founder without an infrastructure engineer can lose days to this. Free onboarding with a human who knows the catalog removes most of that friction.

Cherry Servers also publishes support numbers that matter to a small team. Live chat connects you to a support engineer in about 15 seconds on average, according to its support page, and tickets get a technician within 45 minutes. There is no paid support tier. Every customer gets the same 24/7 access.

Two of its case studies put numbers on the switch. Dawn Labs reports 40% lower infrastructure costs after migrating. StableLab reports hosting costs down by about 35%. Both are blockchain companies, so treat these as examples rather than promises for a SaaS workload.

Products and Pricing Overview

All prices below are in USD, excluding VAT, as listed on Cherry Servers' pricing pages in October 2026. Prices change, so check the live page before you order.

Bare metal dedicated servers

Cherry Servers sells two kinds of dedicated servers.

Instant servers are pre-built machines that deploy automatically in about 12 minutes on average. They range from 4 to 128 physical cores and from 16 GB to 768 GB of RAM.

Custom servers let you change any component. Builds take 24 to 72 hours and go up to 1,152 GB of RAM, 10 disks or 80 TB of NVMe, plus GPU accelerators.

A few reference points from the dedicated pricing page:

ServerSpecsMonthlyHourly
Intel Gold 5315Y8 cores, 32 GB, 2x 250 GB NVMe, 30 TB traffic$174.33$0.298
AMD Ryzen 7700X8 cores, 64 GB ECC DDR5, 2x 1 TB NVMe, 100 TB$186.03$0.318
AMD EPYC 7313P16 cores, 64 GB, 2x 250 GB NVMe, 100 TB$186.03$0.318
AMD Ryzen 9950X16 cores, 128 GB DDR5, 2x 1 TB NVMe, 100 TB$408.33$0.70
AMD EPYC 9554P64 cores, 384 GB DDR5, 2x 1 TB NVMe, 100 TB$782.73$1.34
AMD EPYC 9754128 cores, 768 GB DDR5, 2x 4 TB NVMe, 100 TB$1,285.83$2.202

The catalog includes current AMD hardware: Ryzen 9900X and 9950X, Threadripper PRO 7965WX and 7975WX, and EPYC 9255, 9355, 9375F and 9575F.

There are three ways to pay less. Fixed-term billing saves up to 31% on dedicated servers, according to the homepage. The Ryzen 7700X, for example, costs $1,897.51 on annual billing, about $158 a month. Spot servers run up to 70% below on-demand prices but can be terminated at any time, so they suit stateless jobs only. The Server Outlet sells older Intel hardware from $0.098 per hour, or $57.33 per month for an E3-1240v3 with 16 GB of RAM in Lithuania.

Every dedicated server includes built-in DDoS protection and a 15-day money-back guarantee, subject to the terms of service. You can install Linux, Windows Server 2019 or 2022, or a custom ISO.

Cloud VPS and VDS

For lighter workloads, Cherry Servers runs two kinds of virtual servers.

Cloud VPS uses shared resources. The smallest Gen 2 plan has 1 vCore, 1 GB of RAM, 20 GB of SSD and 1 TB of traffic for $3.51 per month, or $0.018 per hour. The 4 vCore, 4 GB plan costs $10.53 per month. The pricing page lists Gen 2 VPS plans in all seven locations.

Cloud VDS gives you dedicated CPU and RAM on KVM, with no overbooking. Cloud VDS 2 has 4 vCores, 16 GB of RAM, 100 GB of NVMe and 10 TB of traffic for $33.93 per month. VDS instances deploy in about 3 minutes on average.

GPU servers

GPU servers are custom builds. Cherry Servers lists Nvidia A2 cards from $0.239 per hour and A100 80 GB cards from $2.362 per hour. A10, A16 and A40 configurations showed a waiting list when we checked. GPU builds take 24 to 72 hours depending on the region.

Network and storage

Most dedicated plans include 100 TB of free egress per month, and ingress is unmetered. Extra traffic costs €0.5 per TB. Uplinks go up to 10 Gbps per server.

Elastic Block Storage costs $0.08 per GB per month, up to 5 TB per volume. Backup Storage from 50 GB to 2 TB is free with dedicated servers and supports FTP, SMB, NFS and BorgBackup.

Who It's For

  • SaaS startups with steady compute. If your app runs on a handful of always-on servers, dedicated hardware usually costs less than the cloud equivalent.
  • Teams with heavy egress. 100 TB of included traffic per dedicated server changes the math for video, file delivery, APIs and data pipelines.
  • Founders who want EU hosting. Four of the seven locations are in the EU, which helps with GDPR conversations.
  • Infrastructure-as-code shops. Terraform, Ansible, a CLI and two SDKs mean you can treat bare metal much like cloud instances.
  • Web3 and low-latency workloads. Validators, RPC nodes and trading systems are a core market for Cherry Servers.
  • Teams that want to pay in crypto. Cherry Servers accepts over 20 cryptocurrencies through CoinGate, alongside cards, PayPal and bank transfer.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

  • Teams that want a fully managed platform. Cherry Servers is unmanaged infrastructure. You patch the OS, run the database and handle security. If you want a managed layer, Cherry Servers partners with Cycle, but that is a separate product.
  • Very early projects on a tiny budget. A $4 droplet or a $5 cloud instance elsewhere is fine for a prototype. The cheapest Cherry Servers VPS is competitive, but the real value starts with dedicated servers.
  • Teams that depend on managed cloud services. If you rely on managed queues, serverless functions or a large catalog of hosted databases, a hyperscaler or DigitalOcean will fit better.
  • Anyone who needs a server in South America, Africa or Australia. Cherry Servers covers Europe, Chicago, Singapore and Tokyo only.

Hetzner is the price benchmark for European dedicated servers, with data centers in Nuremberg, Falkenstein and Helsinki and unlimited traffic on its AX line. It raised prices on April 1, 2026, so check its Server Finder for current numbers. It has fewer locations than Cherry Servers.

OVHcloud has the largest footprint here with 46 datacentres and standard anti-DDoS. Its Advance range starts at $163.20 per month including VAT on the English site.

DigitalOcean is the simplest developer cloud, with Droplets from $4 per month and dedicated CPU Droplets from $63. It is a better fit for managed services than for raw hardware.

Vultr sells both cloud instances and bare metal across 33 regions. Its cheapest bare metal plan costs $120 per month on older Intel hardware with 5 TB of bandwidth.

Verdict

Cherry Servers is a solid choice for startups that have outgrown cloud credits and want real hardware without hiring an infrastructure team. Prices are transparent and published down to the hour. Most dedicated plans include 100 TB of traffic. The hardware is current, and support is free for every customer and, by Cherry's own numbers, fast.

The drawbacks are real. It is unmanaged, it covers seven locations rather than dozens, and some Trustpilot reviewers complain about strict payment collection and refund disputes. Read the billing terms before you commit.

The SaaSOffers deal does not lower the price. It gives you a guided start, which is the part founders most often get wrong when they first move to bare metal. If you are weighing a switch from cloud to dedicated servers, take the onboarding and let the Cherry Servers team check your setup before you spend anything.
