Deal Highlights
The SaaSOffers Willow deal
Offer: 3 months of Willow Pro free (up to 20 seats).
Who qualifies: Startups, up to 20 seats. Use code WILLOWMP3.
Willow confirmed this offer to us directly on November 1, 2026. It does not appear on Willow's public site, which lists no startup discount.
We checked these plans and prices against Willow's official pricing and help pages in November 2026.
Pro normally costs $15 per user per month, or $12 billed yearly. Basic is free, on the Frontier Mini model with 20 Scribe uses per week. To claim, enter WILLOWMP3 at checkout on desktop.
Willow is an AI dictation app for Mac, Windows and iPhone. You click into a text field, hold a hotkey, talk, and formatted text lands at your cursor. It removes filler words, adds punctuation and learns your names and product terms. Willow says more than 150,000 professionals use it and that teams at 20% of the Fortune 500 are on it. The company also claims 3x the accuracy of built-in dictation and text in as little as 200ms. Those are Willow's own numbers, and we have not tested them.
Hold a key, talk, release
Dictation runs in any app with a text field. Willow names Slack, Gmail, Cursor, Notion and iMessage. On Mac the default hotkey is the fn key. Double-tap it for No Hands Mode, which keeps listening until you press the key again.
Formatting responds to how you speak. Say "bullet" before each item and you get a bulleted list. Say "new paragraph" to break the text. Say "no wait" and change a meeting time, and Willow rewrites the earlier sentence. Emails get the greeting, body and closing on separate lines.
Willow Scribe is the second product. You describe what you want to say and it writes the message from the context on screen. It has 3 modes: write from scratch, reply to what is on screen, and edit highlighted text. The default hotkey is Function + Control on Mac and Left Windows + Left Shift on Windows. On iPhone it sits inside the Willow keyboard.
Willow lists 100+ languages with switching between them. Android is marked "Coming soon" on the pricing page. The iPhone app needs iOS 18.0 or later.
Pro costs $15 a seat, Business costs $35
Willow sells 4 tiers. Yearly billing saves 20%.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Free | Unlimited Frontier Mini model, limited personalization, 20 Scribe uses per week, no credit card |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | SSO/SAML, MSA and DPA, invoice or PO billing, usage dashboards and API, dedicated support |
The Business card says "/mo" where the Pro card says "user/mo", so Willow's page does not state outright that Business is per seat. Get that in writing before you budget for it. On iPhone, the App Store lists Willow Pro at $15.00 monthly and $143.99 a year.
Willow has no free trial on its pricing or help pages. It has a free plan instead. Referrals give a free first month, and students, educators, nonprofit staff and military get 30% off Pro. Our 3 months is longer than the referral month.
Willow's pages disagree on some details
The current pricing page describes Basic as unlimited on the weaker model. The App Store listing still says "a weekly word limit", and a help article dated July 9, 2026 says 2,000 words per week and 5 minutes per recording on Free, against 8 minutes on paid plans. That same article prices Team Pro at $12 per user with a 3 seat minimum, and it does not mention Business. We treat the pricing page as current. Check your plan in the app before you rely on any cap.
What Basic and Pro leave out
Basic does not include:
- The Frontier Pro model, which Willow calls faster and more accurate
- Unlimited Scribe (Basic stops at 20 uses per week)
- Smart memory of your writing style
- Priority support, prioritized feature requests and early feature access
- iPhone, according to the comparison table, although the Basic card offers an iPhone download and the App Store app is free
Pro does not include, per the same table:
- Centralized billing
- Shared team dictionary
- Team management dashboard
- Enforced zero data retention
- MSA and DPA, SSO/SAML (Enterprise only)
Our offer covers Pro, and Willow's table puts the team tools on Business. A March 2026 help article describes a "Team Pro" plan with shared terms and one bill, so ask which plan your 20 seats land on when you redeem.
What 3 free months save at 5 and 20 seats
These figures assume WILLOWMP3 covers all 3 months of Pro for each seat. Willow's public pages do not say whether the code applies to monthly billing, yearly billing or both, so confirm at checkout.
5-person team
- Monthly billing: 5 seats x $15 x 3 months = $225 saved
- At the yearly rate: 5 x $12 x 3 = $180 of value
- Full year on monthly billing: 5 x $15 x 12 = $900
- First year with the offer: 5 x $15 x 9 = $675
- Full year on yearly billing: 5 x $12 x 12 = $720
20-person team
- Monthly billing: 20 seats x $15 x 3 months = $900 saved
- At the yearly rate: 20 x $12 x 3 = $720 of value
- Full year on monthly billing: 20 x $15 x 12 = $3,600
- First year with the offer: 20 x $15 x 9 = $2,700
- Full year on yearly billing: 20 x $12 x 12 = $2,880
If the 3 free months apply to monthly billing, 3 free months plus 9 paid months costs $135 per seat. A straight yearly plan costs $144. That is $9 less per seat, or $180 across 20 seats, and you keep the right to stop after month 3.
Pro has no add-ons on the pricing page. There is no per-word meter on Pro and no setup fee listed. If a 5-person team later moves to Business and it is per seat, that is $175 a month or $140 a month billed yearly. At 20 seats it is $700 or $560.
Willow's terms say subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Plan on regular fees from month 4 unless you cancel. Canceling keeps the plan active through the end of the billing period.
Private Mode is on by default
Private Mode is the default on every plan. In that mode Willow says it keeps no audio, transcripts or edits on its servers. Transcript history stays on your device and does not sync between devices. The privacy policy, last updated August 5, 2026, says service providers are bound by zero data retention and no-training controls.
Transcription itself runs on cloud AI models, so your audio does leave the machine for processing. The opt-in "Help Improve Willow" setting lets Willow keep anonymized text, but no audio. Context Awareness reads text near your cursor and is not stored.
The security page says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and that Willow runs on US cloud infrastructure. The homepage also says "end-to-end encryption". We could not find a technical description behind that phrase, so ask if your security review depends on it.
Willow says it is SOC 2 Type II audited and offers the report on request. For HIPAA, you sign a Business Associate Agreement in Settings under Privacy on desktop, or under Data Controls on iPhone. Enforcing either privacy mode or HIPAA for a whole team takes Business or higher.
The iPhone app's App Store privacy label lists Usage Data as possibly used to track you across other companies' apps, plus Usage Data and Advertising Data linked to you for advertising and analytics. Apple notes those labels are self-reported. The label does not list audio or dictated text.
The homepage lists offline mode ("powered entirely by your device"). Willow's blog says it is available through settings on Mac and iOS, and Windows uses cloud processing. We found no help article naming the plan.
Who it fits
- Founders who write dozens of emails and Slack replies a day. Willow's case study says author Noel Whittaker clears 100+ emails a day with it.
- Engineers who prompt AI tools in Cursor. Willow says it reads code context so file and function names come through correctly.
- Sales and support staff who repeat the same phrases. Shortcuts insert saved text by voice.
- Mixed Mac and Windows teams. One subscription covers your devices if you sign in the same way on each.
- Clinicians and founders in health tech who can sign the BAA.
Who should skip it
- Android users. There is no Android app yet.
- Windows users who need offline dictation.
- Teams that require SSO on day one. That starts at Enterprise.
- Anyone who wants meeting notes. Willow's pages describe dictation and writing, and a notetaker such as Otter.ai or Fireflies.ai does that job.
- Open-plan offices with no tolerance for talking, although Willow says it handles whispering.
Willow against Wispr Flow, Superwhisper and Apple Dictation
| Willow Pro | Wispr Flow Pro | Superwhisper Pro | Apple Dictation | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $15 | $15 | $8.49 | Built into macOS |
| Yearly price | $12 a month | $144 a year | $84.99 a year, or $249.99 lifetime | No plan listed |
| Free tier | Unlimited on weaker model | 2,000 word weekly allowance on desktop | Free tier with Whisper models | Not applicable |
| Platforms | Mac, Windows, iOS | Mac, Windows, iOS, Android | Mac, Windows, iOS, Android | Apple devices |
| Offline | Mac and iOS, per Willow's blog | Not listed on its pricing page | Yes, best on Apple Silicon | On-device depends on settings |
| Team billing | Business tier | Included on Pro, no seat minimum | Enterprise only | None |
Wispr Flow charges the same as Willow Pro, and it includes Android and team billing at that price. Its Growth plan at $23 a month ($18 yearly) adds SSO and HIPAA enforcement, which beats Willow's table for a team that needs SSO. Willow's edge is the free tier as its pricing page describes it, since Wispr blocks desktop dictation above 5,000 words a week, plus our 3 free months. Neither Wispr Flow nor Superwhisper has a SaaSOffers deal at the moment.
Superwhisper costs $59 less per seat per year than Willow's yearly Pro plan, and it runs local models. It suits Mac users who want audio on their machine. Team features sit on Enterprise.
Apple Dictation needs no signup. It stops after 30 seconds without speech, and we found no filler-word removal or style matching in Apple's guide. On Macs with M3 or later, 12GB of memory and English, macOS 27 adds on-device cleanup of spelling and punctuation.
Setup tips for a team rollout
- Turn off auto-approval before you share an invite link. With it on, anyone who joins becomes a seat automatically, and the help center says anyone with the link can join. Our offer stops at 20 seats, and Willow's pages do not say what seat 21 costs.
- Invite in bulk. You can paste up to 200 comma-separated addresses.
- Load the shared dictionary first, if your plan has it. Add product names, customer names and acronyms. New teammates' names are added on their own.
- Check for existing subscribers. Willow pauses a member's individual Pro plan after a team upgrade, so nobody pays twice.
- Use a built-in microphone. The setup guide prefers it over some external options such as AirPods.
- Grant permissions. Mac needs Microphone and Accessibility. Windows needs microphone and input access. iPhone needs Keyboard Access, Allow Full Access and Microphone.
- Set a style per app. Personalization lets you choose a preset for email, Slack and other contexts.
How to claim the deal
- Open Willow through the SaaSOffers link on this page and download the Mac or Windows app.
- Create your account and finish onboarding.
- In the app, go to Settings, then Plan & Billing, and click Upgrade.
- Enter WILLOWMP3 at checkout. Checkout runs through Stripe on desktop. On iPhone, the upgrade screen has a "Redeem Coupon Code" option, but Apple handles that billing, so we suggest redeeming on desktop.
- Check the total before you pay. The discount should show on the Pro plan. If you see a Business price, or a seat count above 20, stop and contact Willow.
- Invite your team, up to 20 seats.
- Add a calendar reminder for 1 week before month 3 ends, so you can decide whether to keep paying.
